Position: Shipping Clerk
Type: Full-Time, Must Work Saturdays & Sundays
Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with possible overtime
Pay: $18.00 per hour or more depending on experience
Location: Henderson, NV (Reliable transportation required. Public transportation may not be available at shift end.)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk with forklift experience to join our warehouse and distribution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and shipping orders while ensuring inventory accuracy and on-time deliveries. This position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and supporting customer satisfaction through accurate and timely shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments in accordance with customer requirements and shipping schedules.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and stage materials.
• Verify order accuracy by reviewing shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and customer specifications.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity and adherence to safety standards.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Generate and maintain shipping records, tracking information, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities.
• Organize shipping and staging areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Follow company safety policies, operating procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist with receiving duties and other warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with shipping documentation, freight carriers, and inventory transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders and shipments.
• Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse management or inventory systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Current forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Experience with freight shipping, LTL, parcel carriers, and logistics coordination.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices.
• Familiarity with ERP, warehouse management, or shipping software systems.
